Word on the street: New music venue, The Mothlight, coming to Haywood Road in West Asheville

The Mothlight, a new music venue, is being planned for the former Fred’s Beds location on Haywood Road. Fred’s Beds closed back in July.

Details are scarce, but I’m working to track them down.

The Mothlight would be the second new music venue for Haywood Road, following on the heels of The Isis, which is having a dance party tonight and will host its first music act next week.  Here’s the 411 on The Isis.

Haywood Road is hoppin’. Also to come – the relocated Oysterhouse Brewing is coming to the former Viva Deli space.
