Press release here:

On Friday, April 11th, National Headlining Comedians Nate Bargatze, who just performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as well as Comedy Central and Conan and Comedian Louis Katz, who has been seen on NBC, Comedy Central and HBO, perform two shows at 8 p.m. and 10:15 pm in downtown Asheville at Asheville Brewing Company’s The Millroom as part of Funny Business’ national comedy series.

Nate Bargatze has had four late night appearances on Conan and had his own Comedy Central Presents in 2011. In addition, Nate recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. He has also been on CMT’s “Comedy Stage”, has written for Spike TV”s Video Game Awards, and has been featured at the Montreal Comedy Festival, Bonnaroo, and more. Nate has performed for the troops in Iraq five times now. He was also featured this year as one of Esquire’s Best New Comedians of 2012, as one of Marc Maron’s comedians to watch in Rolling Stone and in Paste Magazine, and as one of the 10 Comedians Who Deserve Their Own TV Show on CoolMaterial.com. In September of 2012 Nate’s released his comedy album, Yelled at by a Clown, which reached #4 on the iTunes comedy charts, #2 on Amazon, and #10 on Billboard.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Louis’s comedy career began at the incredibly early age of 9 when as part of a school project he submitted several jokes to “The Tonight Show,” two of which were read on air by Johnny Carson. After graduating from UC Berkeley, he began performing stand-up throughout the Bay Area and quickly made a name for himself. He is now a professional comedian based in New York who can be seen at clubs and colleges across the country.

Louis has performed at the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival, the Atlanta “Laffapalooza” Comedy Festival, the Amsterdam “Toomler International” Comedy Festival and the Vancouver Comedy Festival. He has appeared on NBC’s “Last Call with Carson Daly,” Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” Jamie Foxx’s “America’s Funniest Comics,” and HBO’s “Down & Dirty w/Jim Norton.” His half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special airs in early 2011, coinciding with the release of his debut comedy album, “If These Balls Could Talk,” on Comedy Central Records.

Louis also produced a series of short films for Adult Swim’s superdeluxe.com, which can now be seen at youtube.com/louiskatzcomedy. Hosting the evening will be a local Asheville comedian.

Buying tickets in advanced is highly-recommended and can be done so by visiting here. Free parking is available across the street from The Millroom at 66 Asheland Avenue after 6pm. Food and beer will be available.
