Democracy for Sale screening at New Mountain AVL, 7 p.m.

Attic Salt Theatre Company holds an open house at their new Theatre Arts Studio on Riverside Drive, 2-6 p.m.
Matt Townsend plays a show at Haywood Arts Regional Theatre, 7:30 p.m. start
Sunday
MG Flea, a new flea market at MG Road, noon start
Black History Proper II, a celebration of Black History Month, at The Block Off Biltmore, 6 p.m. start
I Am Not Your Negro screening at the Grail Moviehouse, noon
Our highlighted event, the Asheville Mardis Gras Parade, with a 3 p.m. start
