I like the idea that changing an I to a U will protect them from the notoriously litigious Tetris Company, LLC, especially when they’re using a nearly identical font AND a tetromino-type graphic right next to the name. At least they’ll be able to blame the lawsuit when they inevitably close . . .
Yeah, I’d have to agree. It was a great idea at the time but then all the hipster Jersey Shore wanna-be kids ruined the place. Then they get all “VIP membership” on the place and entitled and voila its a pile of crap. Gone by the end of the year or at least next spring. Oh well.
WHAT A JOKE! Arcade was a great idea ruined by poor choices, crappy service, horrible food, disgusting clientele and worse management, held together with spit and duct tape. Add to that the broken video games and bathroom doors that wouldn’t close for over a year. I can’t imagine what they’ll consider “chic and refined.”
I’m betting that Asheville Arcade and Club Tetrus both bite the dust before the end of the year.
