Sola therapeutic salt spa coming to Eagle Street this month

A new business is coming to downtown Asheville: Sola, a salt spa where visitors can experience “salt therapy”:

During a 45-minute session, you relax in zero-gravity beach chairs while being immersed in calming sounds in our unique microclimate. Shoes must be removed and booties are worn in the cave. Breathing in the salt air is said to foster good sleep, alleviate symptoms of allergies and asthma, relieve hypertension and stress and even cure hangovers. However we make no medical claims. The salt cave is something like an oasis of fresh air in the heavily polluted environment in which we live.

Sola opens this month at 10 Eagle Street off of Biltmore Ave.
