This would be a fantastic use for what is obviously a very flood-prone area. I would love to see more recreational oriented infrastructure in the RAD.
Recreational structures invite more usage (get more people into the RAD) while also allowing for better mitigating the impact of flooding.
By the way….we should totally expect flooding in this area of the RAD – its flooded 3-4 times in the past 10 years…maybe more.
Whatever happened to the whitewater park idea?
Fight childhood obesity while reducing fossil fuel dependency, all while building something to share.

I’m pretty sure this is at that cluster of crumbling warehouse buildings on the curve of Lyman Road near Paneling World, and kind of behind the Riverview Station complex. Who owns that property, and is thereby going to be legally liable when the first skater busts their head open on this ramp?
