seven_sows_asheville_2015Here’s the press release from co-owner Chef Mike Moore, who is also the founder of Asheville’s underground supper club Blind Pig.

Seven Sows Restaurant will be closing for business on Monday May 25th, 2015. We celebrate over two years of great food and service in our 77 Biltmore Avenue location and we thank you Asheville for your continued support in making that possible. Management at Seven Sows has made the decision to sell the business as we move on to other projects and endeavors.

We are proud to welcome our friend and long time colleague Chef Justin Burdett back to Asheville with Local Provisions. Look for more information on this opening concept soon.

#1: Mike is an amazing chef, and even more amazing human being! Seven Sows helped to usher in a whole new genre in Asheville and excited a ton of people with it’s unique style. Seven Sows will be missed, but we know Mike is growing into even more incredible things… keep an eye out!

#2: Justin brings yet another vivid style that I think people are going to really get into and it’s something special to see two chefs standing together and speaking support of each other through this change – impressed with Mike and Justin.

-Stay wild with Mike and Blind Pig Supper Club, and check out Justin’s resume, including stints at major spots in ATL, NC and a spot on TVs “Chopped” –
