An art and design forum known as PechaKucha Night will bring a group of creatives and those who want to hear from them together on the sixth floor of the BB&T building in downtown Asheville at 7 p.m. on Nov. 14.
About 200 people are expected to attend the event, which will use the entire sixth floor of the BB&T building. The event will include a physical exhibit, but the key is a series of presentations in which speakers show 20 slides and are given 20 seconds per slide to talk. The confirmed presenters are: Shantanu Suman, Guillo Rodriguez, Kitty Love, Christopher Knowles, Ian Wilkinson, Jen Bowen, Jen Gordon and Caitlin Edenfield. Here’s the full list of presenters:

The theme of the event is public art, and the night will include a project by Knowles that will occupy the entire facade of the BB&T building (Asheville’s tallest building) facing the Vance Memorial.
