ProSource Plumbing Supply, located off Brevard Road, held a grand opening celebration Thursday of its new 40,000-square-foot warehouse and its gleaming 6,300-square-foot showroom. The company offers the plumbing, lighting and other hardware supplies for builders, designers and homeowners.

The business is owned by Tonya and Grover Martin, who started nearly three decades ago in Greenville, S.C. ProSource has opened a handful of other showrooms around the region, including one in Hendersonville about seven years ago. The business services subcontractors working on big projects such as assisted living centers and apartment complexes, as well as the new home owner looking for modern light fixtures, new cabinetry hardware or fresh porcelain fixtures for a bathroom. Finding a plumbing service that can help you with your plumbing needs can be difficult, especially in times of an emergency, luckily there are services similar to Fix It Right Plumbing that may be able to help with your plumbing requirements.

ProSource also specializes in offering some smart-home technology, such as a Bluetooth-enabled shower that allow you to talk to a caller while you’re rub-a-dubbing and a Bluetooth-enabled mirror that will play your specific music selections when you come near.

The showroom is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and stays open until 7 p.m. on Tuesdays. Here’s the full press release:

ProSource Plumbing Supply, a family-owned wholesale provider for commercial and residential plumbing supplies, lighting, cabinet and door hardware, is pleased to announce the opening of a new Asheville showroom. Located off Brevard Road (and Pond Road) at 30 Interstate Boulevard, the 6,300 square foot showroom features high-end kitchen and bath fixtures as well as the area’s largest selection of cabinet and door hardware.

Adjacent to the showroom is a 35,000 square foot warehouse facility ProSource opened in late 2015. ProSource provides an extensive range of plumbing parts and supplies for both commercial and residential projects.

“We’re excited to offer our commercial and residential customers in the Asheville market a more convenient location. We’ve worked with many of them through our Hendersonville location, but having a branch in Asheville will allow us to provide better service throughout Western North Carolina,” said Grover Martin, founder and president of ProSource Plumbing Supply.

The ProSource showroom is staffed by knowledgeable consultants who will be available to assist designers, builders and homeowners with choosing products for their bathrooms and kitchens that fit their style and budget.

ProSource is based in Greenville, South Carolina, and has five locations in the Upstate and Western North Carolina, including Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Hendersonville and the newest location in Asheville.
