ABOUT MSSL CMMND
As the Neptunes, Chad Hugo and partner Pharrell Williams won multiple Grammys, sold millions of records, and were even named the producers of the decade in 2009 by Billboard magazine. Their diverse portfolio of work ranges from Ol’ Dirty Bastard to Madonna to Justin Timberlake. Then, as one-third of N*E*R*D, Hugo would tour the globe and inspire an entire generation of listeners with the band’s unique amalgam of rock, soul, and hip-hop. Now, Hugo has branched out yet again, this time recruiting Baltimore-based DJ Daniel Biltmore to vault his signature sound even further into the stratosphere with their MSSL CMMND project. Debuting with a mix on the influential Fool’s Gold label (Duck Sauce, Kid Cudi), the two have taken their sonic landscapes on the road, hitting the decks in New York (NYC Fashion Week), Toronto (Toronto International Film Festival), Los Angeles (Coachella), Paris, Lisbon, London, and more. Armed with a deep reservoir of off-kilter original productions and new takes on classics, MSSL CMMND give a nod towards the legacy forged by their creators, and slam on the accelerator to go somewhere entirely new. And this is just the beginning…

ABOUT MARLEY CARROLL
Marley Carroll is a prodigious multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ from Asheville, North Carolina. The beginnings of his musicianship sprang from training in piano, percussion and scratch DJ technique. Marley’s work has been featured on All Songs Considered, the TCIAF re:sound podcast, and the award-winning documentary, Pelada. The track “Flying Nomura Theme” was given a place on volume four of the respected What.CD compilation, and was voted the #1 track. NPR called [his debut album, Melanaster] “gorgeously subdued glitch-pop”. He has shared the stage with such great artists as RJD2, Prefuse 73, Blackalicious, Martyn, Emancipator, Eskmo, Tokimonsta, Eprom, Lipp Service and more, and was recently voted one of the top local DJs by his fellow Western North Carolina citizens.

ABOUT IN PLAIN SIGHT
Out of Asheville, North Carolina comes In Plain Sight: three DJs and producers united towards a global, progressive groove. In Plain Sight’s unique sound lie in the collection of its individual members Ezekiel, Lucas Ledford and Nomad in the Dark’s diverse backgrounds. The collective works within the realm of progressive house and infuses their passions and experiences into their productions. In Plain Sight’s tracks have proven equally effective in tiny darkened warehouses as well as in packed, international nightclubs. Their tracks have been spun by some of the leading names in electronic music including Sasha, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Dave Seaman. In Plain Sight’s remix of Nomad in the Dark’s “Shine Like A Poor Man” landed on Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings label, and Beatport publicly remarked that this rework was “how progressive house should be made.” The members of In Plain Sight are regular guest DJs on D:Fuse’s popular Sirius/XM Radio program as well as a variety of radio mix shows listened to from all points of the globe.
