We’re Beer City U.S.A., we’re Foodtopia, and the music ain’t bad either: Locals Woody Wood and River Whyless both have recorded-live session on Daytrotter today.

Daytrotter is a paid music site featuring live performances (FYI, you can get a free two-week trail subscription without a credit card).

Alt-folk band River Whyless plays three tracks: “Pigeon Feathers,” “Cedar Dream Part II” and “Stone.” Southern-fried rocker Aaron Wood performs four songs, “Shooting Star,” “Speak Your Name,”  ” Sunshine” and “Come Back.”

Visit Daytrotter here (and check out the session with singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, recorded while she was in Asheville for Bele Chere.)

Congrats to Woody and River Whyless, and thanks to Daytrotter for its excellent taste.
