Who’s open late during Moogfest–and anytime? We’ve got the answers in a post that updates BlogAsheville info from this summer.

For the purposes of this post, we’re defining “open late” as serving until at least midnight, preferably later.

Here’s the list, by part of town the eatery is in:

DOWNTOWN

Twisted Crepe, special hours during Moogfest ONLY: Open to 2 a.m. Fri & Sat. Sweet and savory crepes, fast and affordable. Eat them like a sandwich or quesadilla. Great party food; veggie options; right across from the Cellular Center. Website here. Menu here.

Rosetta’s Kitchen: Vegetarian and vegan food, cheap, healthy and good: peanut butter tofu, sandwiches, veggie and rice bowls.  Great desserts and local beer, too. Monday- Thursday: 11 a.m.- 11 p.m.; Fri-Sat: 11 a.m.- 3 a.m.

The Lexington Aveneue Brewery: Great food, great beer brewed in-house.
Mon.-Sat. 11:30 a.m —2 a.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m —2 a.m.
Late Night Menu 11 p.m.—1:30 a.m.

Curate: Tapas bar with an El Bulli-trained chef. Open until they close Tue-Sun, taking reservations until 11:30 p.m. Reservations not required.

Barley’s Taproom: Good pizza, salads, calzones and beer. Mon-Sat 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.; Sun 12 p.m.-12 a.m.

The Southern Kitchen and Bar: Slightly upscale Southern comfort food and beer. Open every day 3 p.m. to 2 a.m.

French Broad Chocolate Lounge: Handmade chocolate, cookies, cakes, brownies, fudge, creme brulee, pots de creme… Beer, wine, and coffee, too. (And a yummy cheese plate.) See you there.

51 grill is good but somewhat shady – last time I was their I ordered the cajun chicken sandwich, I heard the manager tell the cashier next time ring it up as another of their chicken sandwiches, which actually cost s more than what I ordered…

Hey! You somehow got the Rankin Vault menu from a couple years ago again. Aside from the “apps,” and salads everything changed long ago. Check out the new and improved: http://www.rankinvault.com
