Job fairs coming up for Biltmore’s F&B department, Asheville Tourists

TouristsA couple of job fairs of note. First, Biltmore:

Biltmore’s Food & Beverage department will be interviewing to hire various culinary positions on Tuesday, Feb. 25. Available positions include servers, hosts, banquet staff, prep cooks, line and lead cooks, line supervisors, baking and pastry cooks, and more. Applicants are encouraged to submit an application online at http://www.biltmore.com/careers/search-jobs for a specific Food & Beverage opening prior to attending. Walk-ins should bring a résumé and will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.

WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

With the 2014 baseball season quickly approaching, the Asheville Tourists are looking to fill over 100 part-time positions during the span of two scheduled job fairs. Positions available include Guest Service Relations, Merchandise, Food and Beverage, Parking Attendants, Ticket Operations, Stadium Operations, Mascots, Energy Team Members, and Bat Boys.

The first job fair is scheduled for Thursday, February 20 from 5pm-8pm while the second job fair is on Saturday, February 22 from 10am-2pm. Tourists’ staff members will conduct interviews on both dates. Job seekers can find an application online at www.theashevilletourists.com and are recommended to bring out a filled out copy to expedite the process. Applications will also be available on site.

The Tourists open the 2014 season at McCormick Field on April 3 against the Delmarva Shorebirds at 7:05pm. Season ticket packages are currently available at the McCormick Field ServPro Box Office. For more information, contact the Tourists’ front office at (828) 258-0428.
