Thursday 10/13

Asheville Affiliates Throwback Thursday @ Catawba Brewing

6-9 pm

Asheville Affiliates is throwing a party in support of all the non-profits it gives love to and celebrates throughout the year! Your $15 entry includes two beers, food, and a vote to help your favorite non-profit win the proceeds.

Stand with Standing Rock Benefit Show @ the Mothlight

This donation-based show ($5-10 recommended) benefits Standing Rock and the #NoDAPL resistance. Music from Ahleuchatistas, Desperate Pilot, Nervous Dupre, MANAS, Meg Mulhearn & Elisa Faires, and MC Minori.

Friday 10/14

East/West Fall Popup @ Haywood Rd

10 am – 8 pm

Our favorite popup shop is back! The East/West Popup is your spot for the best in handmade and artisan gifts and goodies.

Hiss Golden Messenger @ the Mothlight

9 pm

A fantastic night of live music from Hiss Golden Messenger and openers the Dead Tongues at West Asheville’s Mothlight.

Saturday 10/15

Cider Fest NC 2016 @ Salvage Station 

1 – 5 pm

Cider is big, and we’re thrilled about it! Try all the local and regional offerings at this year’s Cider Fest. The options include mead and craft beer as well.

Lose Yourself to Dance with Marley Carroll @ Asheville Music Hall

9 pm – 2 am

Perrenial favorite Marley Carroll hosts a night of beats at Asheville Music Hall in the popular (and free!) Lose Yourself to Dance series.

Sunday 10/16

Freeform Guitar Workshop with Shane Parish @ Firestorm Books and Coffee 

Aleuchatistas’ guitarist Shane Parish hosts this free, all-levels workshop that will feature open discussion on a variety of topics. Bring your guitar (no amps, please).

Fantastic Negrito @ Asheville Music Hall

The winner of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert is coming to the Music Hall with his distinctive blend of blues, roots, and African-American music.
