GeekOut 2013 set for May at UNC Asheville’s Sherrill Center

Last year, the Multiverse Asheville group swooped in to put on GeekOut, which effectively replaced Fanaticon, a great event that the Asheville Art Museum put on for a couple of years before unceremoniously dropping it. GeekOut celebrates comic books, gaming, and all the art and fan culture that surrounds it.

    Has any reporter – Motsinger? Sandford? – discovered why the Asheville Art Museum dropped Fanaticon, “unceremoniously?”
