asheville_brewers_supply_2015This looks good. Here’s the press release:

**THIS IS A 21 AND UP ONLY EVENT.** Please have ID ready at time of purchase as well as when entering event. Guest must have both valid ticket and ID for entrance. The event will be held at the U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville.

On Aug. 22, from noon to 6 pm, Asheville Brewers Supply (www.ashevillebrewers.com) hosts Beer City’s 1st Annual Homebrewers Conference. Asheville Brewers Supply is Western North Carolina’s oldest home for homebrewing, and we’ve partnered up with FEAST (www.feastasheville.com), a local non-profit dedicated to promoting healthy eating choices and hands-on learning for people of all income levels. A portion of all proceeds will go to supporting their mission of teaching affordable healthy living to children and adults, so we’re really happy about that!

The conference lineup is sure to serve a diverse and exciting assortment of knowledge droplets to any thirsty brewing enthusiast. On tap, we’re serving up the talents and wisdom of the following brewers/breweries:

-Randy Mosher- The man himself! Accomplished “radical brewer,” beer connoisseur, and author.

-Chris White- You’re head of White Labs yeast, right? The man puts the White in White Labs.

-Wicked Weed- From one of the hottest breweries in the country right now, co-founder/owner/head blender Walt Dickinson will offer insight into the art of funk, blending, and all that’s good.

-Mike Karnowski- Former homebrew shop owner, specialty brewer for Green Man Brewing, author, and soon-to-be head brewer at his own new unorthodox brewery. You don’t want to miss Mike!

-Bhramari- From Asheville’s forthcoming new gastro brewpub hotspot, Gary Semack will dazzle and delight us over delicious discussions of the intimate relationships between culinary magic and brewing alchemy.

-Sierra Nevada- From homebrew shop roots to craft beer revolution innovators, Sierra needs no introductions. Yes They’re coming too!

Tickets are $50 and are available through the USCC Box Office, Charge by Phone at 1-800-745-3000, or order online.
