Firecracker Jazz Band and Balkan Death Grip at Isis Restaurant and Music Hall
Firecracker Jazz Band, Western North Carolina’s #1 Jazz Band for eight years running (Best of WNC, 2005-2012) is performing this Saturday night at Isis Restaurant and Music Hall, West Asheville’s newest venue. In hundreds of performances since 2003, Firecracker Jazz Band has played everywhere from street corners, speakeasies, jazz festivals from coast to coast, beer-soaked dance halls, Bonaroo and the Kennedy Center. Featuring members you’ve seen perform with the Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Tommy Dorsey Band and Hank West and the Smokin’ Hots, these six musicians revitalize traditional jazz with unbounded energy.
Beginning the evening will be Balkan Death Grip, a high energy trio known for their crowd-around-the-sidewalk street performances that can stop traffic in downtown Asheville.
You’ll spill from your seat to the dance floor without realizing it. So bring your dancing shoes and remember: Speak Easy, Dance Hard.
Tickets are $10 Advance, $12 day of show.
