Floating Action’s new CD is out as of today. The new record from the local band has attracted attention from My Morning Jacket’s Jim James, who remixed select tracks and co-releases the record on his own label.

Harvest Recordings, Harvest Records’ recording-label arm, shares the release with James’ Removador Records.

From the Harvest Records newsletter:

FLOATING ACTION

CD, LP or DIGITAL!

“Floating Action is the sound of space between worlds… it’s still sunny out but you can also see the moon…” — Jim James

…gorgeous melodies and scrappily fuzzed out tones that radiate a vinyl warmth that somehow immediately instills a feeling of nostalgic happiness…” — Sean Moeller, Daytrotter

To get the LP ($15, limited to 500 copies) or CD ($10), you can come to the shop of course, OR order them online HERE.

You can also purchase it digitally on ITunes.
