ashvegas_tshirts_for_sale_2014Ashvegas T-shirts are now for sale, folks. Buy a shirt and you’ll be helping to support this local, independent news outlet.

I’m passionate about local news, and I’m trying to make Ashvegas.com my full-time job. To do that, I need more money, folks. I can’t grow this site without funds, and right now, I’m juggling multiple jobs to pay my bills. These Ashvegas T-shirts are just the beginning of a what I hope will be a full merchandise line that can’t help contribute to my bottom line.

I owe big, big thanks to Joshua Levy, who designed the awesome Ashvegas logo. If you need any design work, I highly recommend Josh at Asheville Art Family. Jacob Ballard, who has been a consistent mentor, supporter, cheerleader and sometimes-IT guy, gets the credit for moving me forward on the shirts. His web company iWebXpert in Asheville is awesome. Also, check out his site, RX Prints, for details.

A couple of quick notes on the Ashvegas shirts:

-we’re doing a limited run right now, but plan to have plenty more available

-if you buy two or more shirts online, shipping is free

-if you want a shirt and don’t want to pay shipping, you can find me at Downtown After Five on Sept. 19. I’ll be there with my awesome Asheville Grit partners

Thank you!

I’d like to buy a shirt, but the link doesn’t seem to be working.

Do you still have shirts? If so, let me know how I can get one.

    Thanks!

Good to see you branch into merchandising, always a good step!

However, calling this blog a ‘independent news outlet’ opens you up for some scrutiny for being actual ‘news’ as opposed to a fun blog about Asheville.

Thanks Mike. I hear you. I think Ashvegas has grown into more than a blog. And it is a news outlet, as well as place to find about the fun side of Asheville.
