Asheville’s premier fashion designer moves into new West Asheville digs

Ship to Shore Clothier will be hosting an open studio and sale to celebrate the new location at 85 State Street on February 9th, 2013 from 10-7pm.  R. Brooke Priddy & her dressmaking shop have been located on Haywood Road for the past 10 years and now has moved to the more private locale a few blocks from Haywood to create dresses by commission.  The shop is open to the public for one day only for an annual sale and party.  Many of the handmade one-of-a-kind original garments are marked down to up to 70% for the Grand Opening event.

The new location was sought out in an effort to offer more privacy and spaciousness to her clients who visit, by appointment, to have custom-designed gowns built.  A dye garden is planned for the Spring, along with a dye studio and expanded dressing room.
