The rules:

The Original Toughman Contest only accepts fighters that are 18 years old or older. If you’re 35 years old or older, the Toughman Contest suggests getting a physical from your personal physician before competing in a contest and in some states, the Athletic Commission has other regulations. There is no kicking or biting permitted. Fighters must have limited amateur experience and must not have any professional experience. Fights consist of 3 one-minute rounds, with a 60 second break between each round. Standard Marquis of Queensbury Boxing Rules apply, with three judges scoring by a 10 points must sytem. Toughman provides the 16-ounce boxing gloves, a padded kidney belt, and headgear. Each fighter only fights once on Friday night and winners return on Saturday night and eliminate down to one Champion and one Runner-Up in each weight division.

8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the U.S. Cellular Center
