Thursday 7/14

OWL Grand Opening

8 am-6 pm

Mini pastries, live music! Wear stripes for a free pastry (with cheese!).

El Chivo @ Fine Arts Theatre

7 pm

The debut of the documentary film from local director Rod Murphy about Ultra Runner Will Harlan.

Moonlit Artist Market @ Burial Beer
8-11 pm
A celebration of local artists and artwork inspired by French Quarter nightly street markets; food from Salt and Smoke and live music.

Friday 7/15 

Burning Can @ Oskar Blues Brewing 

This weekend-long celebration of canned beer “in all its glory.” Live music from Andrew Scotchie & the River Rats, Dumpstaphunk, and more.

An album release party for the Sunset Go Trippers with friends including Philo (members of Empire Strikes Brass), Xero God, and more!
Saturday 7/16
Blue Ridge Rollergirls @ the US Cellular Center
5 to 9 pm
Blue Ridge Roller Girls are having their final home bout of the season and their 10 year anniversary celebration!
There will be a throwback match that’s an ode to vintage derby, and Unifire Theater on the halftime show!
9 pm
Mamadou Kelly, a guitarist from Mali and the Ali Farka Toure All Stars Band are coming to the Mothlight!
Sunday 7/17
The Big Crafty @ Pack Square Park
12-6 pm
A celebration of local indie artists and crafters! Shopping and fun for the whole family in downtown Asheville.
9 pm-2 am
Stop on by Shakey’s Drive-In for a double feature film, food, beer, and delight on the banks of the French Broad River.
