Asheville street artist Gus Cutty has a new mural memorializing rocker Lou Reed on the roll-up door at Static Age Records on Lexington Avenue. He should be finishing it up on Thursday. Cutty, who has done a number of spray paint portraits around town, has a new art show going up this weekend at Satellite Gallery.

Here’s Hunter S. Thompson by Cutty, who also recently painted a mural of Popcorn Sutton. And here’s one Cutty did of Dan Cathy that got a lot of love.
