industrious_productions_2014This is great news for West Asheville residents Rod Murphy and Adams Wood, co-owners of Industrious Productions:

Industrious Productions has worked with some amazing clients, including American Express’s Open Forum, Leaf International, and The Biltmore to name a few.  They’ll be helping us tell the story of building a brewery, the history of the area, and all the partnerships, challenges and successes that are part of that process.

In the 4 years since they formed Industrious Productions, they’ve have had assignments that have taken them from Point Hope, Alaska to the Copper Canyons of Mexico.  They are currently also working on independent feature documentaries.

When not working on film projects Rod plays music and performs at a storytelling series around town, Adams plays and coaches soccer, and Francine teaches hip hop dance.  They live with their families in West Asheville.

Do you make films?  Well, you’re in luck, we happen to host a film and beer festival.  Want to submit your short to Clips Film + Beer Tour?  Winning films go ’round the country. You have until April 1 to submit-check it out!

100 percent of proceeds from beer sales directly benefit a local nonprofit working to improve the community. Last year, Clips Beer & Film Tour raised nearly $158,243 for local organizations. Since its inception in 2010, Clips has raised $366,893 for nonprofits nationwide. In Asheville, proceeds have generated more than $11,000 for Asheville on Bikes.
