For the past few years, and annual zombie walk in Asheville has sort of flown under the radar. This year, though, they’ve got a web site going and a publicity machine cranked up. I’m predicting a lot more attention, and a lot more of the undead shuffling through the streets.
The zombie walk even has a sponsor of sorts — Asheville Brewing on Cox Ave. There will be a “pub shamble” on Oct. 24 to “raise awareness” for the official walk, which is Oct. 26. There’s even an official “after party” after the official walk.
