Loyal reader Mountain Man has noticed that WLOSers have taken down their online advertisement for a weekend weather-guesser. Not sure what’s going on there. Does anybody know if we’re getting a new weather soothsayer?

Yeah I’ve noticed that as well…it’s been over two months since Bob Caldwell retired and they (WLOS) still haven’t given Julie’s old job to anybody? Something smells kinda fishy anyway because supposedly there were over 30 applicants for Caldwell’s job when in the end they onl promoted someone in-house. Why don’t they just hire someone from that stack of applications?
Well, the position appeared filled and the job announcement was removed, but as of yesterday, it is back up on the good ole WLOS website. Did someone back out at the last minute?
