As we head into a new week, I’ll be interested to see what will happen with gas prices. Does anybody know how much a gallon of diesel now costs? Seems like it runs a couple of dollars higher than regular unleaded, so all I can say is I’m glad I don’t drive a diesel. But that will certainly impact big rigs, which we depend upon for deliveries of all kinds of stuff. Will this all translate into higher grocery prices, higher pizza delivery charges? How will the people who deliver the morning newspaper survive these prices?
And what’s the impact going to be on home heating fuel as we move closer to cooler weather? Skyrocketing prices, I’m sure, but how much higher?

This will be my first winter in a home with heating oil, so if anyone has any pointers about where/when to buy, please pass them along.
Apparently, only Gov. Easley knows what a gallon of gas should cost.

I’m just hoping to have some. I’m not picky about the details.
Diesel is about 4.19 to 4.29! First time in years that it has been cheaper than regular gas. I have a diesel work truck and just bought a diesel jetta (45-50mpg.)
<—– Loving life right now. For this week anyways.
