WCU’s nursing school hosts open house March 12 at A-B Tech’s Enka campus

CULLOWHEE – Prospective nursing students will have a chance to discuss career opportunities in the field as Western Carolina University’s School of Nursing hosts an open house Saturday, March 12, on the Enka campus of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Haynes Center.

Individuals will be able to meet with representatives of all of WCU’s undergraduate and graduate nursing programs, as well as representatives of A-B Tech’s associate degree program and a dual-enrollment bachelor’s degree program that is offered jointly by the two institutions. Information about WCU admissions and financial aid also will be available.

Those attending also will have a chance to win door prizes. Refreshments will be available.

No registration is required to attend, and prospective students are welcome to drop-in at any time.
