Wanted: Submissions for ‘I love Asheville beer’ art show

Share

This sounds like a great event. Here’s the wonderful note from Sarah:

Hello Ashvegas!

My name is Sarah Hunter and my friend and I are new gallery owners in downtown Asheville. We are having an art show the night before Beer City Festival at our gallery in the Flat Iron building. It is an art show based on peoples love and devotion to the Asheville beer scene.  All of the details are on our website: www.hotironstudios.com.

We REALLY need help getting the word out there because we want to have a lot of entries! Can you please post this on your amazing blog?  It is going to be such a fun show. We would love your help getting the word out there.

Hope you are well!

Peace,

Sarah Nix Hunter

 Here’s a little more from hotironstudios.com:

• What: An exhibition devoted to Asheville’s love for local brews.

• When: June 4, 5, and 6 – Beer City Festival Weekend

• Where: Hot Iron Studios, 22 Battery Park Avenue, Suite 211 (on the second floor)

• Exhibition Details: Have you always wanted an opportunity to express your love of our

local brews though visual art? Hot Iron Studios is offering a call for entries for works

that are devoted to doing just that. To celebrate the Beer City Festival, we will host an

exhibition of works by local artists celebrating our town’s affinity for ales, lagers,

porters, stouts and all other varieties produced by the beer artisans of western North

Carolina. Cheers!
