New York City’s disco funk stars Los Amigos Invisibles are playing Orange Peel in Asheville next week on 2/23 – as part of a national co-headline tour with New Orleans’ own Trombone Shorty.
Tightening their hooks and focusing their songs, Los Amigos won their first career Latin GRAMMY with their acclaimed studio album, ‘Commercial’. It was their first win after five nominations!
Originally discovered by David Byrne in a Manhattan record shop, Los Amigos Invisibles moved to New York City from their native Venezuela more than 12 years ago and became a global touring machine.
Now an established name in the dance music scene, Los Amigos have rocked programs like the Jimmy Kimmel Live and festivals like Coachella, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits and Lollapalooza in recent years.
