Here’s the press release:
Two major Western North Carolina real estate companies, Prudential Lifestyle Realty of Asheville, and Prudential Beacon Realty of Hendersonville and Brevard, have merged. Both companies will now be known as Prudential Lifestyle Realty.
Since its founding in 2002, Prudential Lifestyle Realty has grown steadily in staff size and annual sales, with two offices in the Asheville area. The company has been honored for three years by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce with the Sky High Growth Award.
Prudential Beacon Realty, which opened in 2006, brings to the merger 26 agents in two offices in Hendersonville and Brevard. Former owner Steve Cochran will continue in his role as broker in charge of the Hendersonville office, and Ea Dossey will continue as broker in charge of the Brevard office. “We are excited to be joining the Prudential Lifestyle team,” said Cochran. “This merger will allow us to flourish and grow under the Prudential name.”
The expanded Prudential Lifestyle Realty now has over 70 agents in Buncombe, Henderson and Transylvania Counties and plans to increase its agency staff to 100 by the spring of 2009. “Both agencies have a record of outstanding service,” said Prudential Lifestyle Realty founder and president Bruce Alexander. Alexander has worked in real estate development and sales since 1983 and also serves as president of Asheville-based Lifestyle Homes of Distinction, which is an award-winning developer of communities in North and South Carolina and sister company of Prudential Lifestyle Realty. “We are focused on becoming a leader in Western North Carolina real estate,” Alexander said, “and this merger expands our commitment to matching unique properties to customer needs.”
