Here’s the press release:
Come on out and get into some Trouble on Tuesday, December 16th at the Rocket Club.Showtime is 10pm fand there will be a $5 cover charge.
Asheville rock in its truest sense will be onstage at the Rocket Club on Tuesday Dec. 16th in the form of the local music heroes Trouble. Comprised of friends and fans (of each other), Trouble brings out the best in southern rock, bluegrass, americana, funk, soul and electronica in each other. The massive rock guitar assault of Woody Wood (Hollywood Red) is backed by bassist Jay Sanders (Acoustic Syndicate, Donna The Buffalo, E.Normus Trio), Jason Flournoy’s electric banjo tantrums (Larry Keel & Natural Bridge; Shanti Groove), Sean “The Foil” Foley (Snake Oil Medicine Show, Eliza Lynn, Vendetta and the Nines) on keys, accordion, and the Moog Synth, with Frank Bloom (Thunderdrums) on drums. Recent fall tours have had members of this band crossing the entire country numerous times, and now it is time for the boys to be at home and bringing the party along with them.
Tuesday, December 12th also marks a special occasion as it represents the birthday of Asheville’s local crescendo picking banjo stud, Jason Flournoy, who is sure to be in rare form and exciting disposition.
