Here’s a touching note I received from loyal reader Allison. Please keep Kristi Cornwell, her family and her friends in your thoughts:
On a personal note, I wanted to see if you might help get the word out in our area about a missing woman (and family friend) from my hometown. Chances are you’ve read about it or heard about it on the national news. Her name is Kristi Cornwell, and she was allegedly abducted while out walking in her neighborhood in Blairsville, Georgia on Tuesday, August 11. She was talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone at the time. Her cell phone was found a few miles from where they believe she was taken, but the police and Georgia Bureau of Investigation have said they have very few leads. They have widened the search beyond Union County, which borders Murphy, NC. I’m just hoping that perhaps some of your readers from the far western NC area could offer some help. A link to the article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is here.
Any help you could offer in getting the word out about this would be much appreciated.
