Of the “next generation” Americana bands that I saw at Merlefest last weekend, I have to pick The Lovell Sisters Band as my favorite. Absolutely loved their sound, their songs and their stage presence.
I usually don’t regurgitate the press found on band web sites, but this damn well sums up The Lovell Sisters:

Their energy is awesome and nobody in the Americana world wants to follow them on stage.
