Kevin is a wonderful guy – a bit of a zealot to be sure, but for good reason. I had seen him just two nights previous to his arrest in Greenlife & we were talking about alternative currency in Asheville in it’s many forms. He was so looking forward to coming to the Faces of Asheville exhibit opening on Friday so he could see his portrait, which is of him holding a hammer & the Asheville stamp that he designed for the back of the Liberty Dollars. I was shocked & saddened that he was arrested that very morning. He certainly didn’t suspect it was coming, and I hope that despite this the many forms of alternative currency that are being developed in Asheville will continue their progress. Good luck to you Kevin!
