ASHEVILLE — The economy may still be souring, but for Bill Foley, business is sweet.
The expansion fills the empty space next door to the shop at 36 Haywood St. The addition will allow for the shop to sell all of its products all of the time.
The Chocolate Fetish, the downtown shop Foley owns with his wife, Sue, has expanded its space on Haywood Street and opens for a customer preview today. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for June 10, with a grand opening celebration June 11-13.
“Our customer demand has kept growing despite the economic climate, and sometimes we have customers waiting outside to get in,” Bill Foley said. “The market isn’t gone. You just have got to fight harder for your share of it.”
