Two tidbits on the Tar Heels:
First, did you see David Noel win the Mountain Dew College Slam Dunk Contest last night on ESPN? Noel has always been a fierce dunkmaster, and he really showed his stuff Thursday night.
The Tar Heel senior was hanging out in about fourth place when he came with a dunk that started with a running round-off and back handspring, followed by a buddy passing him the ball and Noel leaping and slamming it home. The contest leader, some Memphis kid, missed his skywalking dunk, and Noel won.
Second, I know y’all saw this already, but Tyler Hansbrough announced that he’ll be returning to Carolina for his sophomore year. Yes! The Tar Heels are going to rock next year.
