It’s about time. They are hugely popular and have a tiny little parking lot, and they’re located at a busy intersection there along Haywood Road. Sunny Point Cafe has to get their property rezoned in order to expand their parking, and they’re working through that process. I’m not sure which way they’ll expand – they’re pretty well tucked in there next to a residential neighborhood. We’ll see.

It all started about the dumpster being moved to where it is now…It looks like only two spaces will be added…Someone complaned about the dumpster being moved and now looks like a fence, parking spaces, trees, srubs, and fence around dumpster…..I see it as more money for the city as there will be permintes , more in taxs, money out for all the work !!!!! Darn….all over moving the dumpster…check when the next meeting with city is and support them !!!!! be there
They own the house behind them, and it's zoned residential. I'm sure they'll raze it and expand that way.
