Shuler to tour Wilma Dykeman RiverWay along French Broad River in Asheville on Sept. 21

Join us at 9 am at RiverLink’s Warehouse Studios, located at 170 Lyman Street (across the street from 12 Bones Smokehouse) to tour the Wilma Dykeman RiverWay.  Congressman Schuler will meet with the staff of RiverLink which includes two AmeriCorps volunteers Haley Smith, is our education coordinator in schools throughout the French Broad River watershed and Laura Barry our assistant volunteer coordinator. 

After touring the Warehouse Studios building the Congressman will visit the RiverLink Sculpture and Performance Plaza on Riverside Drive and Karen Cragnolin Park on Amboy Road for an update and overview of the riverfront revitalization efforts currently underway. The tour will include the riverfront area currently being studied with a $600,000 Federal Highway Administration grant from Amboy Road to the Hill Street interchange.  

During the tour the Congressman will hear about the rebirth of the riverfront area as a destination where everyone can live, work and play.
