See Black Mountain-based photographer Rebecca D’Angelo’s photos from the society beat in DC

This looks like one great show and is, to me, a great example of the type of talent we have in and around Asheville. Rebecca D’Angelo covered the society beat for the Washington Post, and now she’s working in our community. Awesome. Can’t wait to see her photos.

Studio 103 Fine Art Gallery presents Black Mountain based photographer, Rebecca D’Angelo. Artist reception Friday July 30th from 5-8 pm.  Wine and cheese will be served with music by Jenne Sluder. Exhibit runs through August 25th.

Rebecca D’Angelo has a BFA in photography, and has spent her career primarily as a photojournalist.  This exhibit explores her work as the Society Beat photographer for the Washington Post. Clocking in over 1000 soire’s in about 8 years.  Hollywood celebrities mingling with the power players of DC, and the power players of DC mingling with the want-to-be players, and so on.  Inside the Beltway is a world of its own.  Full of intrigue and juxtaposition. This exhibit is a limited edition print exhibit.

Rebecca is an awesome photographer. I had my headshots done by her and was very happy with the results. She does great work!
