Here’s the note I received about potential layoffs at Arvato out in Weaverville. It’s unconfirmed information. Can anyone confirm?
There are rumors circulating that a large layoff is approaching at arvato digital services (Sonopress) … they are holding mandatory meetings with our “Employ Assistance Network Provider” all this week …

No layoffs apparently forthcoming. Another commenter says Arvato is hiring lots of temps, and bringing some temps on to full-time.
I hope not – I just started there!
I can’t attest for the rest of the plant, but the area where I’m working always seems to be busy. And from what I understand the EAP meetings are just welcome meetings, outlining services that are available to employees (full Arvato, not Adecco or American Staffing).
