Rumor control: Amazing Savings on Hwy. 70 in Black Mountain is closing/store says that rumor is false

Here’s the note from a loyal reader regarding the Amazing Savings discount grocery store in Black Mountain:

I heard today that the ASave on rt. 70 is closing! It was the best location, pretty sad 🙁

Can anyone confirm/deny?

Update: A person answering the phone at the store says that information is false. The store is not closing, the person said.
