Renowned Egyptian architect and founder of ‘biogeometry’ to speak in Asheville Nov. 6

ASHEVILLE, NC (October 23, 2009)– Internationally renowned architect and natural scientist, Ibrahim Karim Ph.D. of Cairo Egypt, will give a public presentation entitled “BioGeometry: Solutions for the Global Environmental Crisis”  at the Crown Plaza Resort on Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m.  

Dr. Karim’s talk will include rare insights into the principles of Sacred Architecture used in Ancient Egypt, plus practical applications of the new vibrational science of BioGeometry to reduce toxic effects from modern technologies and electro-magnetic fields.

Dr. Karim is well known in the Middle East as the founder of BioGeometry®, the science of how shapes and architectural design can affect health in humans, animals, and the environment.  He has conducted intensive research for over 35 years on the effect of two- and three-dimensional shapes on biological systems.  Dr. Karim is the former leader of a project studying the “Effects of Shapes on Life Functions” at the Egyptian government’s National Research Centre, and has served as an advisor to multiple Ministries of the Egyptian Government since the early 1970’s. 

His concepts of BioGeometrical design have been applied in a wide range of successful projects: organic agriculture in Holland, medical projects in Egypt, the eradication of electro-magnetic pollution problems from entire towns in Switzerland, and many other initiatives across Europe and the Middle East.

Dr. Karim has just completed his first English language book describing how BioGeometry can be used for addressing the environmental issues facing modern society, entitled Back to a Future for Mankind.   This book will be offered for the first time in North America at this Asheville event, and Dr. Karim will sign copies of the book following his presentation.

This will be Dr. Karim’s first visit to Asheville.  He is coming to Asheville to teach an advanced seminar in BioGeometry to a group of over 50 senior BioGeometry students gathered from across North America and Europe.  This private event, as well as the public talk by Dr. Karim, is sponsored by the Asheville-based Vesica Institute for Holistic Studies, whose training center and bookstore is located at 1011 Tunnel Road.

Robert J. Gilbert Ph.D., the first non-Egyptian given BioGeometry Instructor status and the co-founder of  the Vesica Institute, invited Dr. Karim to come to Asheville.
