Reminder: Asheville BlogAid is Saturday

Share

This year’s event is happening Saturday, and the annual blogger party is teaming up with the Type-A Mom blogger conference for a great event. It’s raising money for two great local institutions – the YWCA of Asheville and The Health Adventure. As usual, you can vote for your favorite social media types. More:

More info and tickets here. A tidbit:

Asheville BlogAid is a local blogger party pre-Type-A Mom Conference to raise funds for two local non-profits, YWCA of Asheville and The Health Adventure. The event will hit both locations so you can see what your support is helping.

We will also have a raffle featuring amazing prizes from local businesses, plus attendees who pre-register will get gift bags filled with awesomeness (you won’t be disappointed!). We will feature food, drink, activities, entertainers and a chance to hang out with your local social media friends.

There will be two locations, and a ticket allows you to attend one or both.

3-5 p.m.: YWCA

5:30-7:30 p.m.: The Health Adventure

We are working on a location for an after-party somewhere nearby as well.

We will also be hosting local Social Media Awards. Cast your ballot by Tuesday, September 14th at 11:59 p.m.!

From Jennifer at BlogAsheville:

BlogAsheville’s beloved fall party Blogapalooza combines this year with an event put on by Asheville blogger Kelby Carr. Blog Aid. Yes, we’re piggy-backing onto Kelby’s event.

But it’s still all about the bloggers, all about the goofy awards, all about helping a local nonprofit, and most importantly to me–all about keeping our blog community connected. It doesn’t matter who puts it on–if we bloggers are there helping our community, it’s Blogapalooza no matter what we call it.

See you there!
