It’s not much of a prediction, really. It’s going to happen. After the bitter cold we’ve had will come a spring warm-up and rains, and they we’ll see the rock and dirt start to tumble. Hopefully nobody will get hurt.

Stop building on the mountains. The views are spectacular, but the mountains are to be used for hiking, logging, or grazing sheep and cattle. You live in the valley and the lower-lying mountains and play and/or work on the mountains. I’d like to know when the first mountaintop home was built in WNC. Who started all this craziness?
Thank you. I’ll check it out!
