The Posana Cafe is scheduled to open next month in the space formerly occupied by Cafe on the Square, the Asheville landmark that’s now long gone.
Sounds like the Posana Cafe will move in a direction opposite Cafe on the Square and the subsequent Martha Nell’s, and go for less of a fine dining atmosphere and more of a true cafe-type atmosphere and pricing. We’ll see.

I like this new trend of opening places that are meant to be a bit more "real," such as Posana and the plans for the former Old Europe space on Lexington. Kudos to the Posana crew for actually putting the word "affordable" in this announcement.
