The Asheville Community Yoga Center on Brookdale Road is awesome and offers free yoga, reports Susan at Pollinate Asheville:
The space is beautiful. The teachers are amazing (and volunteers). The other students (and there are many) bring joy to that space. I’ve been on again off again with yoga for probably 10 years. This is the first time I have felt committed to a practice, both in the studio and outside the studio. There are many reasons for that, one of which is ACYC.
The mission of the ACYC, according to their website, is to “serve the community through the love offering of yoga classes, lectures, workshops and related services with the intention that through these practices we will come together in love and attain freedom in this life.”
