Our Voice to hold 10th annual art show and benefit on April 2

On Friday April 2, Andie MacDowell will turn her focus to helping local victims of sexual assault as the honorary chair for the 10th Annual Our VOICE Survivor’s Art Show & Benefit.

HEART WORKS – is being held on Friday April 2nd from 7:00 – 10:00 pm at the Asheville Area Arts Council (11 Biltmore Avenue) in downtown Asheville. This marks the 10th Anniversary of the Survivor Art Show which features exhibited work from Our VOICE clients and others in our community who have been affected by sexual violence.  In addition to the exhibit, which will be on display at the Art Council throughout the month of April, there will be a silent auction with works from local and regional artists. Renowned local favorite, Jonas Gerard, is the show’s featured artist.

This year marks the 35th Anniversary of Our VOICE and several of the “founding mothers” of the organization will be honored at the event.
