I think you should offer to help them advertise in some way. You certainly didn’t have any trouble giving them bad press. I went in to get a menu so I could see if we might like to eat there tomorrow. Then menu looks great, and really different than any other BBQ places around. I’m excited. We really needed a new place there that wasn’t a bar, and the more small businesses opening here, the better.

Thanks, cbrock. I’m more than willing to give you guys a chance. It’s just that the establishments that came before you didn’t have such a great reputation. See you March 24.

I must say that the approach with caution comment is completely uncalled for. As one of the owners of ribs-r-us i find it quite offensive. We are not a slum bar or anything like that. This will be a family oriented restaurant, and in no way trashy or "slum" as the creator of that comment has stated. We will be open to the public on on Wednesday March 24th and would like everybody to come check us out and judge us for yourselves. I guarantee you shall not be disappointed. hours are 11am-9pm. Thank you

That part of Asheville needs more variety and i believe this is just the ticket. Can’t wait to try it!

I have to agree with the first comment…how savvy of you, AshVegas, to imply that the new establishment might be sketchy before they’ve even had a chance to open. Could it be that the new owners might actually improve the property? Maybe even enhance the area? If your unwarranted and unreasonable suggestion to "approach with caution" keeps even one customer away, you have caused a startup business some small injury which they have done nothing to deserve. Kudos for the little burst of pomposity and apparent omniscience.

Not to mention a sure-fire trademark infringement battle. Bad plan. Bulldoze & start over.
I’m sure they really appreciate the comment.
