Alexandra Bryan Buckley and Michael Coerte Voris were married on Saturday evening in New York. The Rev. Elizabeth Garnsey, an Episcopal priest, officiated at St. Bartholomew’s Church. Geoffrey F. Worden, an interfaith minister, led the couple in their vows.
The bride, 30, is a director of school programs for Children for Children, a nonprofit organization in New York that promotes community service by children. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a master’s degree in education from New York University.
She is the daughter of Marjorie B. Buckley and Walter W. Buckley Jr. of Bethlehem, Pa. Her father is an owner of Buckley Muething Capital Management, an investment management company in Bethlehem. Her mother is a founder of the Carolina Center for Public Service at the University of North Carolina and a founder and trustee of the North Carolina Outward Bound School in Asheville.
